Fruit Custard




"Fruit Custard" is an easy refreshing  dessert made with very few ingredients.You can add any seasonal fruits of your choice that goes well with custard .



Ingredients

  • Apple - 1 no
  • Orange 1 no
  • Mango -1 no
  • Banana-1 no
  • Grapes - 10 nos
For Custard
---------------
  • Milk  - 2 1/2 cups
  • Custard Powder (vanilla) - 4 tbsp
  • Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1 cup

Method
  1. Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. Add sugar, condensed milk and stir well.
  3. Dissolve custard powder in 1/ 4 cup of cold milk. 
  4. Add this mixture to boiling milk and stir for 30 seconds till it gets slightly thickened .Make sure no lumps are formed.
  5. Strain in to another pan and allow to cool
  6. Freeze or chill it in a refrigerator.
  7. Chop all fruits to small cubes and pour chilled custard over it.(I personally like frozen custard so i have frozen it separately and added to fruits just before serving)
  8. Serve cold.



Notes
--------
  1. Do not dissolve custard powder in warm milk as it will form lumps.
  2. The amount of sugar can be varied to ones taste.
  3. The  type of fruits can be added to ones choice.
  4. Adding any citrus fruit prevents the apple from getting discolored.
