Puli Chammanthi




Ingredients

  • Coconut - 1.5 cup
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1.5 tsp
  • Tamarind - 1 small gooeseberry size
  • Curry Leaves few
  • Ginger - 1/4 inch piece chopped
  • Pearl Onion -2 nos
  • Salt - as needed
  • Water - 1 tsp (to sprinkle)

Method
------------
  1. Put all ingredients in the small jar of a mixer
  2. Sprinkle water and grind coarse.
  3. Last add  fresh curry leaves and give a final blend
  4. Take out to a plate and mix well using hands to make round ball shape.
  5. Serve with kanji , nadan kuthari choru or dosa.
