Teriyaki Salmon





Ingredients

  1. Salmon fillet - 4 nos
  2. Gingely Oil - 2 tbsp
  3. Vinegar - 2 tbsp
  4. Soy Sauce-  3 tbsp
  5. Garlic chopped - 1 tsp
  6. Ginger Chopped 1 tsp
  7. Mustard grounded - 1 tsp
  8. Red Pepper flakes -1/4 tsp
  9. Corn starch - 1/2 tsp 
  10. Brown sugar - 2 tbsp
  11. Oil - for pan frying
  12. Spring onions
  13. Sesame seeds- to garnish




Method
  1. Mix ingredients numbered 2 to 11 to form a marinade.
  2. Marinate Salmon with the above marinade and set aside for minimum of 1 hr(best to keep it overnight in fridge).
  3. Remove  salmon from marinade.
  4. Pace on a pan with oil and pan grill the salmon with skin facing side upwards.
  5. Remove and place on a serving plate.
  6. In the same pan pour the left over marinade and add cornstarch and mix well till it becomes a glazing saucy consistency.
  7. Pour the sauce over pan grilled salmon. 
  8. Garnish with white sesame seeds and spring onions.
  9. Serve hot with butter garlic rice or any flavored rice.
