7 cup Burfi






Ingredients

  • Besan - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Ghee - 1 cup
  • Coconut - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 2 cup
  • Cashew coarsely powdered -1 cup
  • Cardamom powder -1 pinch (optional)




Method

  1. Grease a pan with little ghee.
  2. Heat a pan and dry roast besan in low flame for 5 - 7 mins. Take care  not to burn.
  3. Switch off flame and add milk and sugar and mix well till no lumps are formed.
  4. Heat flame and add cashew powder , coconut and half cup of ghee. Mix well.
  5. When the mixture starts bubbling ,add rest of ghee and cardamom powder and stir continuously till the mixture leaves edges of pan.
  6. Pour the mixture on a greased pan and slice when warm.
  7. Allow to cool.
