Chicken 65





Ingredients

  • Boneless Chicken  400 gm
  • Chopped garlic  - 2 tbsp
  • Chopped ginger  - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves - 1/4 cup
  • Green chilly - 7 (Slit half lengthwise)
  • Cumin - 1 tsp
  • Red Chilly Paste - 2 tsp
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin Powder  - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Coriander Leaves 

To marinate

  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper powder -  1 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Corn Flour - 2 tbsp
  • All Purpose Flour - 1 tbsp
  • Egg  - 1



Method

  1. Clean and cut the chicken into small cubes. Marinate it with ingredients in "To marinate" section  and keep for at least half an hour. (Add egg at last for binding the mixture well into the kitchen)
  2. In a pan add oil and fry the chicken pieces. Drain and keep aside.
  3. In another pan add  2 tbsp of the oil in which the chicken is fried and splutter cumin seeds.
  4. Add chopped garlic, ginger, ginger garlic paste and curry leaves and saute for a while.
  5. Add chopped onion and slit green chilly and saute till brown.
  6. Add  red chilly paste , cumin powder, Kashmiri chilli powder and garam masala.
  7. Add 1/4 cup water and allow to boil so as to make a thick sauce.
  8. Add fried chicken pieces and saute for few minutes
  9. Last add some more fresh curry leaves.
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves
  11. Serve hot as an appetizer or as a side dish.
