Kaya Vanpayar Mezhukkupuratti




Ingredients

  • Kaya - 1
  • Cooked Vanpayar(red bean)- 1/2 cup
  • Onion/Shallots - 1/2 cup (chopped)
  • Curry Leaves
  • Mustard seeds- 1/4 tsp
  • Green Chilli - 2 slit
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - To taste
  • Water - 1/2 cup


Method

  1. Cut raw plantain to small  cubes.
  2. Cook it with salt, water,turmeric powder , green chilli until done.
  3. Heat a pan. Add oil and splutter mustard seeds.
  4. Saute chopped onion, red chilli and curry leaves.
  5. Add chilli and turmeric powder and saute .
  6. Add cooked kaya and payar and saute well.
  7. Serve hot with rice.
