Fish Roast





Ingredients

  • Fish- 350 gm 
  • Onion - 2 medium (finely chopped)
  • Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
  • Green Chilli - 3 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato - 1/2 chopped
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli powder - 2 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves - 2 spring
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Oil - 3 tbsp



Method

  1. Clean and cut fish to medium sized pieces.
  2. In a pan add oil .Add  ginger  garlic paste and curry leaves.
  3. Saute till a nice aroma comes.
  4. Add finely chopped onions and saute till light brown.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, fenugreek powder and saute well.
  6. Add chopped tomato , salt and mix well.
  7. Add water and cover the lid and cook
  8. When the gravy starts bubbling, add  fish pieces and gently mix. Take care not to break the fish pieces.
  9. Close  the lid and cook till the gravy thickens.
  10. Now open lid and gently mix till the gravy is well coated on the fish.
  11. Garnish with onions and lemon wedges.
