Ingredients

  • Beef - 1 kg
  • Onion -3 (sliced)
  • Green chilly -5 chopped
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 1/2tbsp
  • Coriander powder- 3 tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
  • Garam Masala powder -1tsp
  • Cinnamon -1 stick
  • Cloves -4
  • Cardamom -3
  • Whole pepper corns -7
  • Star anise - 1/2
  • Curry Leaves
  • Crushed pepper -2 tsp
  • Red chilli flakes -1 tsp
  • Red Chilli (dried) -5
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil -5 tbsp

To marinate

  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder- 1tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste -1tsp
  • Garam Masala powder -1/2tsp
  • Pearl Onions - 6 (crushed)
  • Curry Leaves
  • Salt -to taste
  • Vinegar - 1/2 tsp

Method
----------
  1. Marinate the beef with the ingredients above and keep aside for atleast 2 hrs.
  2. Pressure cook the beef in medium for 5 whistles .There is no need to add water as water will ooze out from beef. When the beef is done switch off and keep aside.
  3.  In a kadai add oil .Fry the coconut flakes, curry leaves and dried red chilli and keep aside.
  4.  In the same oil add whole spices, curry leaves, onion ,green chilli, ginger garlic paste and saute till onion becomes brown.
  5. To this add cooked beef remaining curry powders and saute in medium flame till it gets dry.in between add oil to increase the taste 
  6. Finally add fried coconut flakes,red chilli and curry leaves and crushed pepper. Serve hot with rice
