Ingredients

- Soaked Green Gram (cherupayar) - 2/3 cup
- Green Chilli - 3 nos
- Salt - To Taste
- Turmeric Powder - 1 pinch
- Thin Coconut Milk - 2/3 cup
- Thick Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup
- Oil - 1tsp
- Curry Leaves - 1 spring
- Water - 1/2 cup
Method
----------
- Cook soaked cherupayar with water, salt and turmeric powder for 1 whistle.
- When the pressure is released, open the lid and add thin coconut milk and bring to boil.
- Reduce flame and add thick coconut milk.
- Switch off and add 1 tsp oil and curry leaves at the top.It enhances the taste.
- Tastes best with puttu.
