Chicken Malli Peralan (Coriander Chicken Roast)
Coriander Chicken Roast |

- Chicken pieces - 500 gms
- Onion - 2
- Tomato -1
- Crushed ginger - 1 tsp
- Crushed garlic - 1 tsp
- Green chilli - 2
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder -2 tbsp
- Crushed Pepper powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Curry Leaves
- Coriander Leaves - 1 handful
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 3tbsp
- Water -1/4 cup
- Bay leaves -1
- Cardamom-2
- Cloves -2
To marinate

- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tsp
- Garam Masala powder - 1/4 tsp
- Green chilli -2
Method

- Clean and cut the chicken into medium size pieces.Marinate it with ingredients in "To marinate" section and keep for at least 2hrs.
- Grind together chilli, coriander,turmeric powders, 1 tomato and coriander leaves to a paste.
- In a pan add oil.Add cardamom ,cloves,bay leaves.Saute ginger ,garlic, curry leaves.
- Add onions and saute till it becomes light brown.At this stage add grounded paste and saute till raw smell disappears and oil starts oozing out.
- Add marinated chicken pieces and mix well.Close lid and cook until half done . (No need to add water as water will start oozing from chicken).
- Add water and cook again till the gravy thickens.
- Add garam masala, crushed pepper powder and mix well.
