Kozhukatta
Ingredients

- Roasted Rice Flour (Appam Podi/Powder)- 1 cup
- Boiled water - 1 1/4 cup
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Ghee - 1 tsp
For filling
----------------
- Grated coconut - 11/2 cup
- Melted jaggery - 1 cup
- Ghee - 1 tbsp
- Cumin Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
Method to prepare Filling

- Heat ghee in a pan
- Add cumin and cardamom powder and mix well
- Add grated coconut and saute for a while
- Add melted jaggery and mix well till the moisture is evaporated.
- Allow the filling to cool
Method
------------
- Boil water in a pan.Add 1 tsp ghee and salt
- Add this water little by little to the rice powder.
- Mix well with hands to make a smooth dough and cover with a wet cloth
- Take small balls and flatten with your palm
- Add the filling and close the edges to make a smooth round ball.
- Make the rest of the kozhukkatta in the same way
- Steam for 8 to 10 mins.
