Netholi (Anchovy) Fry




Ingredients

  • Netholi/Anchovy - 200 gm
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri Chilli powder - 3 tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste -1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves
  • Salt - To Taste
  • Oil  - For Frying


Method

  1. Clean the fish and dip in water with 1 tsp vinegar  for 15 mins to the remove the smell.
  2. Marinate it with the ingredients  given above overnight or atleast for 2 hrs.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.Add marinated fish pieces.
  4. Fry until brown.
  5. Serve hot with rice and salad.
