Beef Ullarthu
Ingredients

- Beef - 500 gm (I used stew meat)
- Onion - 1(finely sliced)
- Tomato - 1/4 (finely sliced)
- Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
- Pearl Onion - 10
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Red Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Coconut flakes - 1/2 cup
- Curry Leaves
- Mustard Seeds -1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Coconut Oil - 4 tbsp
- Cardamom pods - 3
- Cloves - 2
- Peppercorns - 1 tsp
To marinate

- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Chilli powder - 3 tbsp
- Coriander powder- 4 tbsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
- Onion - 1(finely sliced)
- Tomato - 1/4 (finely sliced)
- Green Chilli - 2
- Ginger garlic paste -2 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder -1 tsp
- Curry Leaves - a handful
- Salt - To Taste

- Marinate the beef with the ingredients given above and keep aside for at-least 1 hr.
- Pressure cook the beef in medium flame with 1/2 cup of water until done.
- In a kadai heat coconut oil .Splutter cardomom, peppercorns, cloves.
- Addginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell disappeard
- Add chilli, coriander, turmeric, pepper powder and saute well
- Add sliced onions followed by curry leaves and coconut flakes and saute for 5 mins
- To this mixture, add cooked beef along with gravy and saute in medium flame till the masala is coated well on the beef in low flame stir in between Add oil in between if needed.
- Add garam masala and 1/2 tsp crushed pepper powder.
- Serve hot with rice, roti, chapathi, appam etc.
