Carrot Mezhukkupuratti




Ingredients

  • Carrot - 4 (cubed to small pieces)
  • Green chilli -1
  • Curry Leaves
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Jeera (Cumin) - 1 pinch
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 pinch
  • Hing (Asafoetida)- 1pinch
  • Oil- 1 tsp



Method

  1. In a non stick pan add oil.Splutter mustard seeds,cumin, curry leaves.
  2. Add turmeric powder and hing .
  3. Add cubed carrots and green chilli and give a stir.
  4. Cover with lid.
  5. Close and cook till done occasionally stirring in between.
  6. Serve hot with rice.
