Butter Garlic Fried Rice




Ingredients

  • Basmati rice -1 cup
  • Boiling Water - 2 cups
  • Celery chopped - 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Spring onion - 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Green chilli - 1 (chopped)
  • Garlic chopped - 2 tbsp
  • Onions - 1/4 cup(chopped)
  • French beans - 1/2 cup (sliced lengthwise)
  • Carrot- 1/2 cup (sliced lengthwise)
  • Capsicum- 1/2 cup (sliced lengthwise)
  • Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Chilli Sauce - 1 tsp
  • White vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Pepper Powder - 2 tsp
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Salt



Method

  1. Soak  rice in water for 20 minutes and drain .
  2. Cook rice with enough salt by adding boiling water .
  3. Heat a pan in high flame and add butter .
  4. Saute chopped garlic, celery and spring onion whites till it gives a nice aroma.
  5. Add chopped onions and saute for a while.
  6. Add other veggies one by one and saute for 2 mins.The crunchiness should remain.
  7. Add soy sauce,chilli sauce,vinegar, salt and pepper powder.
  8. Add cooked rice and fluff gently.
  9. Garnish with chopped celery and spring onion.
  10. Serve  hot with any veg or non veg curry.   


Notes
-------

  1. You can add egg or chicken to this fried rice if you wish.
