Mango Panna / Aam Ka Panna
"Mango Panna" or "Aam Ka Panna " is a sweet and tangy summer cooler popular in North India .It made using raw mangoes and is renowned for its heat resistant properties. This drink which is packed with vitamins keeps you hydrated and helps in battling the scorching heat.
Right now Summer is at its peak here in our place and we get dehydrated so fast . Last week, we happened to have this drink while visiting our friend. She told me about the heat resisting properties this drink and the method to make it. So for all those who are really looking for a healthy and refreshing drink in this hot summer , here is the recipe .......!!!

- Raw mango - 1
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Black salt - 1/2 tsp
- Mint leaves - 5
- Sugar - 5 tbsp
Method
------------
- Peel and pressure cooker mango.
- Once cooled completely take the mango pulp and blend with remaining ingredients in a mixer.
- Store in airtight glass container and keep refrigerated.(will stay for few days)
- Take required quantity of this pulp in a glass. Pour water and extra sugar if needed
- Stir and add ice cubes
- Serve cold.
Notes
---------
- You can replace sugar with jaggery if needed.
- You can add a slice of lemon to the drink if you wish.
- Increase the quantity of mint leaves if you like its taste.
