Dates Apple Banana Milkshake




 This is a nutritious, super-easy and healthy milk shake with the wonderful combination of apples, banana and dates. It can be taken for breakfast or any other time of a day and is perfect for hunger pangs  and keeps you satiated for longer period.




Ingredients

  • Banana - 2 (small  peeled and chopped)
  • Apple - 1 (peeled and chopped)
  • Cold Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Dates - 10 nos (pitted and chopped)
  • Frozen Milk - 2 cup
  • Sugar / honey - To taste

Method

  1. Put dates in a blender and crush gently and keep aside.it should not be fully pureed.You should get a crunch in the milk shake
  2. Add chopped apple and banana and sugar, cold milk to the same blender and blend till smooth.
  3. Add frozen milk and crushed dates to this and blend well .
  4. Pour in a glass and garnish with chopped nuts and dates.
Notes
-------
  • As a healthy substitute you can replace sugar with honey.
  • If you prefer the shake to be more rich , you can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chopped nuts to the shake.
  • Since dates are sweet, you will need to add only less quantity of sugar or honey to the milkshake.
  • When choosing the apples and banana , choose the ones which are ripe and not sour.
