French Toast





Ingredients

  • Bread Slices - 4
  • Egg -  1
  • Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Honey - 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Salt -1 pinch
  • Vanilla Essence -  3 drops
  • Ghee -  as needed




Method
----------
  • In a bowl beat the eggs well.
  • Add milk , honey, sugar salt and vanilla essence and mix well.
  • Heat a nonstick pan. Add 1 tsp ghee.
  • Dip the bread slices one by one and place them in heated frying pan and toast.
  • When one side turns brown flip the other side.
  • When both sides are golden brown take out and serve hot.



Notes
-------
  • You can add 1 pinch cardamom powder instead of vanilla essence.
  • Adding honey is optional. But it eliminates the eggy smell.
  • Do not soak the bread slices in the mixture for too long otherwise it will turn soggy.
  • Fry the bread in medium flame.
