Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry




Usually I don't like the taste of broccoli and I think there are many others like me who doesn't like its raw taste. But trust me, this is a super easy and delicious ,classic Chinese recipe which you will love to eat. When correctly prepared , it is a fantastic recipe. So try this recipe and enjoy as a meal with white flavored rice.


Ingredients

  • Beef Steak - 150 gm
  • Broccoli - 150 gm
  • White Onions - 1/4 cup ( Sliced)
  • Yellow and Green Bell Pepper - 1 /2 cup (sliced)
  • Chopped Garlic - 1 tbsp
  • Chopped Ginger - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
  • Crushed Pepper - 1 tsp
  • Cornflour - 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp
  • Sherry Wine - 1 tsp
  • Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Salt - To taste
  • Olive Oil - 2 tbsp

To marinate beef

  • Ginger garlic Paste - 1/4 tsp
  • Green Chilli - 1
  • Soy Sauce - 2 tsp 
  • Pepper powder - 2 tsp
  • Salt


Method
----------------
  1. Clean and cut the beef to very small pieces.
  2. Marinate it with the ingredients given in "To marinate"keep aside for 20 minutes
  3. Dip the broccoli florets in warm water for 10 mins.Drain and keep aside.
  4. Make a sauce by mixing cornflour, soy sauce, red chilli flakes ,sherry wine and pepper powder.
  5. In a heated pan add 1 tbsp olive oil.
  6. Add marinated beef and pan fry it till it is cooked and transfer it to a plate.
  7. In the same pan add 1 tbsp olive oil. Saute garlic, ginger, white onions, broccoli florets and bell peppers till it becomes translucent. They should not be overcooked. The crunchiness should remain. 
  8. Add the pan fried beef and mix well
  9. Add the prepared sauce and salt if need and stir well
  10. Last add crushed pepper.
  11. Serve hot with white floured rice.
