Kung Pao Chicken





Ingredients

  • Boneless Chicken  250 gm
  • Chopped garlic  - 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • Sherry wine - 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli Paste - 2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 pinch
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Peanuts - 1/4 cup
  • Dried Red Chilli - 3
  • Capsicum chopped - 1/4 cup
  • Spring onion- 1/4 cup
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 3 tbsp

To marinate

  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Egg white - 1
  • Pepper powder -  1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tsp



Method

  1. Clean and cut the chicken into small cubes. Marinate it with ingredients in "To marinate" section  and keep for at least half an hour.
  2. In a pan add oil and fry the chicken pieces and keep aside.
  3. In another pan add oil,  fry the peanuts and keep aside.
  4. In the same oil add dried red chilli and saute till it darkens
  5. Add chopped garlic, ginger, spring onion , capsicum and saute for a while.
  6. Add red chilli paste, sherry wine, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and mix well.
  7. Add fried chicken pieces and saute for few minutes
  8. Last add fried  peanuts and garnish with chopped spring onions.
