Chapathi




Ingredients

  • Atta/Wheat flour - 2 cup
  • Hot water -  Nearly 1 cup
  • Salt - To taste
  • Oil - 1 tbsp


Method

  1. Take flour in a wide mouthed bowl.
  2. Dissolve salt in hot water.
  3. Add water little at a time to the  flour and knead well.
  4. Knead well to make a smooth dough.
  5. Add 1 tbsp oil at the top and lightly coat.
  6. Cover with a wet towel and keep aside for 20 minutes
  7. Make lemon sized balls and dust in flour and roll in a rolling pan.
  8. Heat a tawa add rolled chappati to pan.
  9. When one side turns brown flip other side.
  10. Add oil/ ghee at top.
