Chilli Porotta



Ingredients

  • Porotta/Chapati - 4 nos
  • Onion - 1 big (cut into cubes)
  • Capsicum - 1/4 cup (cut in cubes)
  • Garlic -  5 pods (cut into small pieces)
  • Ginger (chopped) - 1 tsp
  • Spring onion - few (chopped)
  • Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sugar - 1 pinch
  • Tomato sauce - 1 1/2 tsp
  • Soy sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli sauce - 1 tsp 
  • Celery stick - 1 chopped
  • Corriander Leaves - few

Method
----------
  1. Cut the porotta/ chapathi  to  small pieces. 
  2. Add oil to a heated pan add chopped garlic, ginger,1 tsp chopped celery (it enhances flavour and chopped spring onion.
  3. Add cubed onions and saute in high flame till onion becomes translucent but is still crispy.
  4. Reduce flame and add all sauces and kashmiri chilli powder and salt.Saute for 2 mins.
  5. Add cubed capsicum and saute for a while.
  6. Add a pinch of sugar or 1 tsp honey to neutralize taste. 
  7. Add chapatis and mix well. Lastly add crushed pepper powder  if needed.
  8. Garnish with  chopped celery and spring onions and coriander leaves.
