Canned Tuna Peera (Tuna / Choora Thoran)

- Canned Tuna - 1 tin
- Green chilli - 3
- Shallots -3
- Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
- Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
- Grated coconut - 1 cup
- Curry Leaves
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder -1/2 tsp
- Kudampuli/Cambodge - 1 piece
- Salt - To Taste
- Oil- 1 tsp
- Water - 1/4 cup
To Grind (Coarse)

- Coconut - 1 cup
- Pearl Onion-2 nos
- Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
- Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
- Green chilli -2
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
Method
------------
- Soak kudampuli in 1/4 cup water.
- In a pan add oil. Splutter mustard seeds.
- Add 3 chopped shallots, 1 tsp ginger and garlic ,curry leaves,.and saute till it is wilted
- Add the washed and drained canned tuna pieces, turmeric powder salt and slit green chilli and soaked kudampuli with water and mix well.
- Close lid and cook for 5 mins.
- Allow the water to dry completely.
- Meanwhile grind the ingredients given in "To grind" to coarse.
- Add the grounded coconut mixture.
- Top with 1 tsp coconut oil and curry leaves.
- Cover and cook for 2 mins.
- Then open lid and mix well.
- Serve hot with rice.
