Chilli Pakoda/ Chilli baji
Ingredients

- Chilli - 3 (I used the big long less hot version)
- Besan Flour - 1 cup
- Rice Flour - 2 tbsp
- Baking Soda - 1 pinch
- Red chilli powder - 2tbsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1tsp
- Ginger Chopped - 1 tbsp
- Curry Leaves (Chopped) - few
- Coriander Leaves (Chopped) - few
- Ajwain - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - To taste
- Water
- Oil - For Frying
Method
------------
- Make a thick batter by mixing all the ingredients with little water.
- Cut the chilli into the length of your choice.
- Dip the chilli in the besan batter.
- Fry in hot oil.
- Serve hot with a cup of tea/ coffee
