Chilli Pakoda/ Chilli baji






 Ingredients

  • Chilli - 3 (I used the big long less hot version)
  • Besan Flour - 1 cup
  • Rice Flour - 2 tbsp
  • Baking Soda - 1 pinch
  • Red chilli powder - 2tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1tsp
  • Ginger Chopped - 1 tbsp
  • Curry Leaves (Chopped) - few 
  • Coriander Leaves (Chopped)  - few
  • Ajwain - 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - To taste
  • Water
  • Oil - For Frying



Method
------------

  1. Make a thick batter by mixing all the ingredients with little water.
  2. Cut the chilli  into  the length of your choice.
  3. Dip the chilli in the besan batter.
  4. Fry in hot oil.
  5. Serve hot with a cup of tea/ coffee
