Chemmen Chakkakuru Muringakka (Prawns Jackfruitseed Drumstick) Thoran
Ingredients

- Prawns (chemmeen) - 250 gm
- Shallots - 3/4 cup (chopped)
- Drumstick (Muringakka) - 1
- Jackfruit Seeds (Chakkakuru) - 1/4 cup
- Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Green chilly - 3
- Curry leaves - 1-2 spring
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Dried Red Chilly (unakka mulaku) - 2 nos
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Oil - 2 tbsp
To grind (to coarse)

- Coconut - 1/2 cup
- Pearl onion(kunjulli) - 2 nos
- Jeera (cumin) - 1 pinch
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Method

- Clean the prawns .
- Soak jack fruit seeds in water .Remove the peel and cut into small pieces lengthwise.
- Cut drumstick into 2 inch long pieces.
- Cook drumsticks, jack fruit seeds and prawns in 1/2 cup water with salt, chilli and turmeric powder, green chilly until done and all the water has evaporated.
- Grind ingredients in "To grind".
- In a pan add oil.Splutter mustard seeds followed by red chilli and curry leaves.
- Add chopped shallot , green chilly and saute till it becomes translucent.
- Add cooked drumsticks , jack fruit seeds and prawns to this and saute for 2 mins.
- Now add grounded coconut mixture and cook for 2 more mins.
- Add 1 tsp coconut oil and fresh curry leaves at top
- Serve hot with rice.
